About Me
Hello, I’m Alex, a relational psychotherapist and psychoanalytic candidate working with adults, adolescents, and couples. My approach is grounded in contemporary psychoanalytic and psychodynamic theories. By making the unconscious conscious, we will expand your sense of self. We will also explore important relationships in your life, both present and past, and enhance your capacity for relatedness.
My background includes training across a range of disorders. In my training at the Institute of Contemporary Psychoanalysis and the Wright Institute, both in Los Angeles, I gained experience treating anxiety, depression, self esteem, and relationship issues. I previously worked at the Psychiatric Institute of Washington, where I supported adults and adolescents with mental illness, substance abuse, and cooccurring disorders.
I love what I do. It’s a privilege to work with you and be part of your journey towards self-discovery and healing. I look forward to getting to know you, and if you feel we could be a good fit, I encourage you to contact me to schedule your first session.
